About me:
I specialize in the Arts and Crafts style of furniture (often called Mission), made popular in the early ninteen hundreds by Gustav Stickley, William Morris and others. Mission style is a design that emphasizes utility and longevity using simple organic materials and construction to underscore the values of the integrity of labour and man’s relation to nature. With its simple horizontal and vertical lines and flat panels that accentuate the grain of the wood (often oak or cherry), these pieces are built to last a lifetime.
